I am a designer, developer, and a manager.

I have spent my career designing and developing software and solutions for the financial technology market. I specialize in application development using Microsoft technologies, such as ASP.NET, C#, and SQL, and have a strong understanding of logic, the SDLC, and project management. I have designed web, API and desktop applications, payment processing software, data management software, and end-user interfaces that are in use by many users today.

Today, I manage a team of engineers, testers, and technicians who build and support cutting-edge financial and risk software.

My passion is designing beautiful, intuitive interfaces

If there is one thing that is consistent across all of the interfaces I've built is that the interfaces are easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and intuitive.

I have a strong background in Photoshop and Illustrator designing my own icons and graphics used throughout this website and other software I've built.

Many examples of my design can be seen throughout the RIBBIT documentation (here). I designed all web interfaces and documentation for the RIBBIT platform, which includes hundreds of views, forms and documentation pages.

I've developed countless applications from inception to deployment and marketing, and every piece inbetween.

Many of these applications and websites are in use today by many.

Designed and developed ASP.Net Core web management console consisting of hundreds of views to manage every aspect of the business including product settings and management, CRM, billing, documentation, user management, and more.
Developed a bank login widget that allows customers to log into their bank account and analyze their data using Javascript, PHP, and SQL.
Created many one-off applications and scripts (both small and complex) to solve problems or facilitate a use case.
Experienced in automated build and deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.
Designed full relational database structures using Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Azure, and MySQL.
Designed, developed, and integrated ACH processing software to manage the entire payment lifecycle, including processing and file creation, returns, reconciliation, and reporting.
As an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), I am well-versed in payment industry files such as NACHA-formatted ACH and return files and ICL, RCC, X9.37, and EDI files.
Designed, built, and supported remote check capture software that interfaced with a check scanner to allow merchants to remotely deposit their checks. This software, distributed nationwide, is still in use by many customers today.

For over 8 years, I have managed teams of software developers, testers, and product support professionals. Together, my teams have built and supported cutting-edge solutions in the payments and technology space. Using frameworks such as Agile and Scrum, I have lead teams through the software development lifecycle, ensuring that quality software is delivered in an efficient and timely manner.

Project Management

As the Vice President of Software Engineering at RIBBIT, I oversee the entire software development process, from planning, development, testing, release, and support. In this role, I am responsible for the product backlog for the entire company - ensuring that incoming requests and features are recorded and scheduled properly, that they make it through the development process successfully, are thoroughly tested, and are successfully released.
